About M&J Farms

Our farm encompasses 5000 acres under the corporate name of Glasman Land & Cattle Co. which includes 2000 plus acres of wheat, barley, oats, and canola. Son, Jared farms full time with parents Miles & Bonnie. Jared and Chelsey have young family son McCoy and daughter Mesa.

Son Matthew and wife Leanne have established a black Angus purebred herd under the name of Glasman Farms. They also are raising their young family, daughters Sarayah and Aleah and son Harlan.

M & J Farms is a purebred cattle ranch that is family-owned and operated at Russell in scenic western Manitoba.

A bull sale on the farm is held jointly with Glasman Farms in February each year selling coming two-year-old red and black Simmental, Angus, and Simm-Angus bulls. The bulls are designed and developed on both operations to ensure soundness and longevity. They graze through their first summer and then are brought in during the late fall and placed on a high roughage diet.
